My family and I could really use the prayers of everyone here. We have been going through a rough past year and a half and things don’t seem to be getting any better. I sometimes dispair of ever being able to get back on track and to a normal life.

I say the rosary daily, as well as evening prayers. My youngest boys, the kids still at home pray as well a my husband. I think we could use the help of others as well.

I thank you all in advance for your kindness.

May the Lord bless you & your family. May He shower you abundantly with his unceasing love and mercy. All of this I pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.:gopray:

Hear us, Lord, and send your angel from heaven to visit and protect, comfort and defend all who live in this house. I humbly implore you to grant your special graces upon this family.
AMEN

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Please say the following prayer right now to release 1,000 souls from purgatory (Approval and Recommendation signed by M. Cardinal Pahiarca, Lisbon, Portugal March 4, 1936.): Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy Souls in Purgatory. Amen

Don’t despair, Jesus is with you. In the message of Divine Mercy in St. Faustina’s Diary, Jesus has a conversation with a despairing soul. I urge you to read it, and don’t despair. There is nothing His mercy cannot overcome. ❤️

Prayers for your family :crossrc:

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us, I trust in You! (Diary, 84)

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion–inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself (Diary,950)

Thank you all for all your kindness. It’s been like a black cloud over our family for these past months. It feels like you just get out of a hole and get kicked back in.

I find it very comforting to know that when all seems lost there are little messages in the most unlikely of places. Feeling very down when we went to Sunday mass, the church paper had the following quotes, and they seemed to be speaking just to me.

Let nothing affright thee, Nothing dismay thee, All is passing, God ever remains, Patience obtains all, whoever pssesses God cannot lack anything, God alone suffices.

Again, God Bless you all for your prayers, we appreciate them so very much.

Oh, I love that prayer of St. Teresa of Avila! It is one of my favorites. So is the prayer of Julian of Norwich, “All shall be well; and all shall be well; and thou shalt see that all manner of things shall be well.” I have placed your petitions within my heart and will carry them with me to Mass and I will remember your petitions in my daily prayers.

May the Lord Bless and keep you. May the light of His face shine upon you. May He uncover His face and Be gracious to you.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

You are in my prayer. Please keep praying and ask God to give you and your family the patience, trust, and hope in the Lord.

God bless!

I am praying for you and for your family. I pray a little now and more later today.

The above quote you gave in your previous post is called “The Bookmark of St. Teresa” which is a quote from St. Teresa’s writings. St. Teresa of Avila.

I will be keeping all your inyentions in daily prayer. How beautiful and holy that your whole family is one of prayer.
How long should we pray for something - some saint said “as long as it takes”…and The Church tells us that where our needs are concerned we should keep praying about them until our prayers are answered…then is the time to rejoice, praise and give thanks.

Keeping you in daily prayer…

Prayers for your family, will bring your petition to Mass in the morning

Ave Maris Stella

Hail, O Star of the ocean,
God’s own Mother blest,
ever sinless Virgin,
gate of heav’nly rest.

Taking that sweet Ave,
which from Gabriel came,
peace confirm within us,
changing Eve’s name.

Break the sinners’ fetters,
make our blindness day,
Chase all evils from us,
for all blessings pray.

Show thyself a Mother,
may the Word divine
born for us thine Infant
hear our prayers through thine.

Virgin all excelling,
mildest of the mild,
free from guilt preserve us
meek and undefiled.

Keep our life all spotless,
make our way secure
till we find in Jesus,
joy for evermore.

Praise to God the Father,
honor to the Son,
in the Holy Spirit,
be the glory one.

Amen

That has been happening to me a lot recently, esp with the gospel and readings. That always gives me extra strength to keep on persevering and not get discouraged. I will say some special prayers for you and your family.
