Please pray for our unborn child's health

Hi,

We would like to ask for prayers for our unborn child. We just had our 1st trimester screening, and the baby tested positive for down syndrome. We are going through additional testing, and praying that these test results were a false positive. We are firm believers in the power of prayer. Please, pray the Lord grants us a healthy baby. Please, keep us in your prayers.

May God’s will be done regarding you both and your child.

I do know that the down syndrome boy that my sister and her husband adopted, following the birth of their own five children, and the down syndrome girl that my brother and his wife adopted after their own three normal births, have grown, with their parents love and care, into lovely young persons who enrich our family and themselves live rich lives, so although I will pray as you ask, if God’s blessing is in giving you an unusual child, I ask God to give you both the courage, means, and love to help and raise your child as the wonderful gift that he or she is, ‘downs’ or not.

Our dear Lord please have compassion upon this couple in their natural anxiety and in their very natural wish for a normal child, as they hope in You for the miracle that they so ardently desire.

Dear Lord please bless this child these parents are expecting. Please bring mother and baby safely through pregnancy and child birth. We pray that their baby will be healthy and ask You to guide the doctors and all medical professionals to give them the best care possible.Thankyou Lord for hearing our prayers Amen

Praying for you and your precious child. God makes no mistakes. Let this baby be a blessing to you, and may Our Lord grant you the strength to care for this little bundle no matter what his/her “imperfections” may be. In Jesus’ name.

Dear Mary and St. Anne, watch over this baby now and forever. Dear St. Gerard bring this child safely to light.
