For those of us who struggle with feeling discouraged, especially when still struggling as a statistic of this economy and longing for the pure desires of our hearts.
 
Do not look forward to what may happen
tomorrow; the same everlasting Father who cares
for you today will take care of you tomorrow and
every day. Either He will shield you from suffering,
or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it.
Be at peace, then. Put aside all anxious thoughts and
imaginations, and say continually: “The Lord is my
strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in Him
and I am helped. He is not only with me but in me,
and I in Him. Amen”
 
May those souls who are feeling discouraged abandon themselves to God’s Merciful Love fully confident in His Merciful Love. Amen.
 
Thou thousands fall at our left and right, Lord Almighty, preserve us as a witness to the nations of Your providential love. Enlighten us to Your history of hope; enliven us to act in faith; and most of all, suffuse us with charity for You in praise, thanks, glory and honor for You, loving our neighbor as ourselves for love of You. “Trust in God and fear nothing.” St. Teresa of Avila, bring us your stamina, and loose God’s wellspring of intimacy that we may never suffer the spiritual dryness that can afflict the elect. Vanquish the satanic, cleanse the abased, and uplift us to God. AMEN
