Please pray for Sheila who has been in treatment for a rare form of cancer of the larynx. She is in remission but the radiation has destroyed her voice; she can only speak in a tiny whisper. Please pray for her continued remission from cancer and that therapy will restore her voice. She owns a B&B so she works with the public a lot and has to speak with phone callers; clear speech is very important to her livelihood and her well-being.

Our Father, who art in heaven,

Our dear Father in Heaven, please consider Sheila as she recovers from the treatment for cancer. Grant that it be a complete cure and that she will once again recover her voice which she needs for future employment. In Christ’s name. Amen.

That must be so hard. Your voice feels like part of your identity and is such a valuable intrument to convey so amazingly much.
So Lord, please restore Sheila’s voice to her, for her work’s sake but also for the richness that one’s voice offers in inter-personal relationships

Lord, I pray that Sheila’s cancer stays in remission and that her voice returns again soon. Bless her with a strong faith in you and a total surrender to your merciful love for her. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.
