So sorry to hear this.
Bear in mind that suffering is redemptive, and during suffering we are most Christ-like. As well, patience is a virtue and patience is needed during recovery, as life can be extremely frustrating. However, although not a stroke victim, I have had to recover from other things. I have found it helpful to compare your point of recovery now with the condition you were in when it occurred. The sense of perspective can shed a new light on how far you have come.
Prayers are ascending!
