Please pray for the loved ones of two friends

My dad’s best work buddy “Karrin”'s husband “Murphy” suffered a massive heart attack at his job earlier this week. He was literally dead when he hit the floor, and would not have survived if his co-workers had not started doing CPR on him. My dad has been in touch with “Karrin” and heard last night that “Murphy” was taken off a heart-lung machine and is now on a ventilator. The prognosis is a little better, but still not very promising.

Also, my online gaming friend “Noxton’s” uncle suffered a heart attack last weekend and is also not doing well at all.

Please keep them all in your prayers.

It’s ironic this had to happen the week of St. Valentine’s Day…

Jesus please have mercy on the ill heath of these two people and help them to recover. Please give comfort and strength to their families.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen
