Please pray for the mentally ill to be treated with kindness and respect in prisons

I read this story about the below man with Schizophrenia who died in prison while prison guards laughed.
This to me and the photos of the restraints chair etc is just appalling and horrid that some people could still be this way/have these types of mentalities in this day and age.🙁

I don’t know if this sounds weird,but it would be nice if we could pray for situations like this and for change to happen (eg:removal of these horrible medieval masks and chairs!) so that we can honour his memory.

Lord, I pray for a much better treatment of inmates with mental health issues, Amen.
 
Heavenly Father, I am asking that You hold the inmates and staff of all prisons in the palm of Your hand.
You know how hurting these people are, Dear Father, and how the events of their lives brought them to this place of crisis. We beg Your healing grace and Your forgiveness on everybody involved.
Thank you, Father and we ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen
