Please pray for the repose of the soul of Arthur

Thanks to all of you who have been praying for my friend Arthur who has been suffering from cancer.

He passed away this afternoon at 4 pm. I was blessed to be able to be with him when he died. We, our prayer group, had received the call from the nursing home and met at his bedside. The nurses had been unable to rouse him for several hours. He received the Last Rites just before we arrived. While we were there, talking, and saying goodbye, he roused enough to open his eyes a little and try to say something but was unable to form any words. We then prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet. During the third decade, he breathed his last.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. And may the souls of the Faithful Departed , through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Heavenly Father, please embrace Arthur’s soul in your eternal and glorious hands. May he join You forever, and intercede for the saints of the earth in accord with your glory and perfect will. Amen. :harp:
