Please pray for Christian Baez and his family. After returning January 17 from his second tour of duty in Iraq, this young man was horribly burned February 22 in a gasoline explosion at his home. He has 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 75% of his body and is still in critical condition in the burn unit. God help him and grant him healing and relief from his terrible suffering. Last fall, his mother made a visit to the Shrine at Guadalupe. Our Lady of Guadalupe, shield Christian, give him courage and a sense of your nearness and protection as he fights this terrible battle.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

I am dreadfully sad to hear of Christian’s suffering. There’s little I can say. But he will be in my prayers, along with his distressed family.

Lord, please give Christian and his family comfort. We know you can heal all wounds, God, and ask that this young man will regain his health. In the name of The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Amen

Oh, this is so sad. I will keep him in my prayers and rosaries. May God bless him and his family.

Blessings,
Judi

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and Blessed is the Fruit of Thy Womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Lord God, please heal Christian’s burned skin and damaged body. Bring him back to You, Lord God, in mind and spirit, and console him and his family. Our soldiers are precious to us, Lord, for they willingly put themselves in harm’s way. Reward Christian’s sacrifice, Lord Jesus, and Have Mercy. Through the same Christ, Our Lord, I pray. Amen.

Thank you, everyone, for your prayers for Christian. I don’t have his mother’s email address but if she has one I’ll send the link for this thread to her. I know it will comfort her.
