Please pray for this widow in need

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Thanks for your faithfulness – I haven’t heard anything yet – not sure if the couple actually made an offer or what? I’ll let you know if and when I hear from my friend. Thanks so much for all your prayers ; it is hard for my friend but she continues to trust in God as we all need to do! 🙂

I just received this e-mail from my friend regarding sale of her house:
…my realtor just let me know the couple who are interested in my house are going to make an offer in the next two hours. May our Lord and the Blessed Mother be in this offer and direct it. Thanks to all prayers warriors.

Dear Katie and Katherine,

I had this e-mail from my friend today:
…I finally got the offer; it is on the low side and couple wants it furnished so I would have to buy all new furniture. We are making a counter offer. Please pray as I always have that I would receive a fair price for the house. I feel like this is not a fair price and giving up my furniture because it was mine and Sam’s is hard for me. If it doesn’t go through then I assume this is not God’s perfect will. I trust in Him and pray to our Lady and St Joseph for a good counter offer.

Please let us pray for God’s perfect Will for my recently widowed friend. Her husband Sam’s death was a sudden one, and it is a hard time for her, yet I’m grateful for all the graces God is giving her to trust Him in all He permits.

Thanks, Katie, and thanks to all who continue to pray for my friend,

We’ll probably hear soon whether or not the counter offer was or was not accepted. When I hear, I’ll share it on this thread.

I told my friend: I thank God for all the graces He is giving her in her trials; for her steadfast faith and trust in Him. Let us please continue to pray that His Will be accomplished in her and in ourselves, through Mary.
 
I hope she doesn’t take that offer … she should wait for a better offer and no one has the right to demand her furniture in an offer.

Dear Katherine,

I think she is willing to take a fair offer which is what I think she may have proposed as her counter offer. I do not think she will accept less than what is fair. I believe she is willing to wait on the Lord, if they do not accept her counter offer. At least that is the way I understood her e-mail.

Thanks so much for your concern and your continuing prayers. I know she very much appreciates all who are praying for her.

Prayers have been answered by our Good and Gracious God! My friend wrote:
We’ve got a contract at a good price so I believe this is the Lord’s will. Matt did some awesome negotiating for me. Thanks be to our great and glorious almighty Father, Son and Holy Spirit and the Blessed Mother Mary, Saint Joseph and all the Legion Members, Bible Study Members and all the prayer warriors on Catholic Answers who diligently prayed for this sale. I am so grateful.

Let me add my own thanks as well, to all who prayed. The Lord is never outdone in generosity – He will bless you all for your kindness to his dear daughter and our sister in Christ! 🙂 He truly is a Father Who knows how to give good gifts to His children.

Dear Katie, Katherine and all those who have prayed for my friend,

Thanks so much for your faithful and persevering prayers. My friend is very aware of all the prayers you and others have offered and has told me she is humbled by them – it is a mighty work of Love God works in all who think of others and do whatever can be done to help them in their need.

Tomorrow is the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. May he expand our hearts even more – filling them with all the blessings He wants us to share with others for love of Him!
