Dear Lord please hear our humble prayers for our dear friend Trishie.She is suffering Lord and we ask You would grant her intentions known to You for herself and her family.Our dear friend has done so much for so many people here at CAF by her wonderful example of faith and witness to You.Now she is suffering more than we can know and it breaks our hearts Lord.We love Trishie and want her not to suffer any longer.She has had a very tough time lately with her own serious health problems, worry for her son,her dear father passing away and her Uncle terminally ill.There are many other issues also Lord which You alone know.Please merciful Father help Trishie and her beloved family in her time of need.Lord in Your mercy hear and answer our prayers Amen

Dearest Trishie,
You have gone through so much hurt and suffering, my heart truly aches for you. You have given me much comfort when I have been suffering and have been a true friend. Even though I don’t post as much please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord give you comfort during this time and may He shine His love on you and your family.

There are some things, no matter how seemingly small they appear to some that are very important to others who may not need more than that to go on.
All things, must be in some way important even if we do not see it right away ourselves.
Maybe we don’t have the right lens to see it. Maybe we can not be physically present to feel as if we can give something to another.
I think, in all of this time I have been here, more than ever I have felt that there has to be something, some kind of connection between us all. Something, that aids us to be able to be with those even far away from us.
A phone or internet can not do this.
There must be something that connects us in times like this, something that connects us all.
If I ever could ask God, I would ask if he could connect me even if I don’t have the right area code. I would ask for dispensation, or special permission. I know that sounds crazy.
Maybe he would let me. Maybe he would see how I am his friend also.
But, I was reffered to him by you Trishie.
I have a reference. And, I know it is a good one.
And, I won’t let you down.

Please hear the prayers of all that are praying for Trishie, Lord. She is loved and admired by so many for her devotion to You. Her own prayers have helped so many to feel comforted and cared for that we pray you will answer our intentions for her now.

I thank you for giving St. Gerard to us
as a most appealing model and powerful friend.
By his example,
he showed us how to love and trust You.
You have showered many blessings
on those who call upon him.
For Your greater glory and my welfare,
please grant me the favors
which I ask in his name.

For Trishie and her family

And you, my powerful patron,
intercede for me before the throne of God.
Draw near to that throne
and do not leave it until you have been heard.
O good saint,
to you I address my feverent prayers;
graciously accept them
and let me experience in some way
the effects of your powerful intercession.

You are all so extraordinarily kind and loving.
Thank you so much for your love and prayers. I hope and pray I shall have good news for you by the year’s end. In the meantime, this is the worst thing that has ever happened, happening, in my life and family, and there have been many difficult things.

Time and time again I’ve been awed by your kindness, for so many of our brothers and sisters here. I don’t know how to thank you but I know God will, and ask Him to bless each of you beyond anything we could ask.
I think we shall all have the happiest and most exciting meeting in heaven at last.
We haven’t met, most of us, but when we meet it will be the most joyous reunion!

And Strawberry, in relation to your reflections, I have long thought that whatever the limitations of internet contact, it can connect us all in a most immediate way. We bypass much that would distract us if we met across a coffee table. In a faith site like this, we approach each other in a way we mostly couldn’t in daily acquaintanceship, and many of us would only half-or-unconsciously pass each other in the street, but here we sense each others’ spirits and see each others needs in poignant depth and compassion. The Internet can be a place of harm, but it can also be a place, as in these forums, where there is some faint sense of the connectedness and mutual love and honesty that we shall find in heaven.

We are a community where diverse natures come together from various nations and conditions, and what we share is our humanity and our needs and aspirations.
I think it pleases God very much.

Please hear and heed our prayers for our sister Trishie. Remember Lord that Trishie is always among the first to pray for others and remember that we are all praying for her. Please Oh Lord, help her family to be relieved of these problems, bring peace and healing to Trishie and her family.

I have just recently come to realize this, but I thank you Trishie for once again so eloquently putting into words what I, and so many others that are posting and reading on these forums are feeling. God bless you.
