Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

St. Michael , the Archangel ,
defend us in battle .
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil .
May God rebuke him , we humbly pray ;
and do Thou , O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts ,
by the Divine Power of God ,
cast into hell , satan and all other evil spirits ,
who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls .
Amen .
 
I have been offline but please know you are in my prayers Trishie. I will keep praying for your intentions and for your family. I will light a candle for you at the National Basilica this weekend.

Dear Trishie,

Just got back in the house after picking cherry tomatoes all over the place. Ziplocked batches to go to those near me, and gave the rest to the United Methodists food pantry. Thought of you the entire time I did these small things, and wished I could grow something so big, that it could show you how much you meant to me here all this time.
Then, I realized- I can not. So I will go to Mass with your intentions tomorrow.
I did not want to, but I feel like you will be there with me. I will not be all alone like I usually am.
You will know I am there, and I will go to adoration on Mondays for your intentions also.

Trishie,

Don’t ever feel alone. So many love you so much.
Don’t feel as if you can not do, you do so much that you don’t even realize.
Do not give up, do not let bad things enter the very good that is YOU.
You have to stick this out, and I will stick it out with you.
I wish I could just take it on for you myself.
You are too nice and kind and loving for anything to happen to you.

Why does G-d give these things to those who would willingly?
I would take this for you Trishie, I am willing to take this if only he would let me
Your friendship is the closest thing to understanding G-d that I have now.
Please hang in there. Please don’t give up.
I really love you as a person, a person who is so giving.
