Continuing to pray for our dear friend Trishie and her family .

St. Michael , the Archangel ,
defend us in battle .
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil .
May God rebuke him , we humbly pray ;
and do Thou , O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts ,
by the Divine Power of God ,
cast into hell , satan and all other evil spirits ,
who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls .

Trishie is in my prayers. I haven’t been on the Forums in a while until recently, but recognized her name as someone who has prayed for me on a number of occasions. Jesus Mercy, Mary help.
 
PRAYER TO OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP
Holy God, we praise you for your love for us, for sending us Jesus your Son, and for giving us Mary as our mother of perpetual help.
We thank you for these signs of your love, and we ask you to lead us by your Spirit, so that we may continue to live as your holy people.
We praise you for your unending strength and support. With the help of Mary’s prayers, may we always be open to recognize your hand in the events of our life and to accept your constant gift of grace. We ask you to please continue to pray for Natalie to be healed from this pain and that the doctors will treat her according to Gods will.
Loving God, we ask this prayer through Jesus Christ, our brother and our Lord, in the love of your Holy Spirit, one God, now and always and for ever.

I went to a really beautiful church today. Not a beautiful neighborhood, St. Hyacinth’s. South of Oakdale, North of Diversey.
Wish you could have seen it. This time I went to sit closer to the front. I stared at all there was to see, and in my mind I was telling all the saints I saw why I was there. Thinking that way, lightning would not strike down the beautiful place. Then, as I was leaving I stopped to ask a lady who was just coming in to pray to “pray for Trishie also if you will”
Had to do that. Just to make sure.
