Lot’s of ECUSA Homosexuals have come over here for the Lambeth conferance to cause trouble.

These heretic ministers of Satan are hell bent on destroying the Anglican Communion.

They think that if they destroy the third largest denomination in the world, they’ll destroy The Church.

The Pope has told Conservative Anglicans to fight rather than jump ship.

Please pray for us as part of Christ’s Church

Yes, indeed it is something worth being brought to the Lord in our prayers. And this one intention obviously is to be prayed on a long-term period… I agree to add this one to my other intentions. May the Lord God guide you, bless you and keep you.

May The Lord bless you. I’m so blessed to know The pope is on our side in this.

God, through Your angels and saints, hear our prayers and help us smite the ministry of Satan. Protect the faithful in the Anglican Church from these attacks. Mary pray with us. Amen. :signofcross:

Nonsense. They’re human beings just like the rest of us. They aren’t engaging in some Satanic plot to destroy the Church. They are simply fighting for what they understand as the true Gospel of inclusion and dignity.

Demonizing those with whom we disagree does not further the cause of Christ.

Wiccan priests and priestesses are human beings too, so are Asatru “goder”, but they are still serving “the common enemy of man”, to use a phrase from Macbeth entirely out of its context, as these “bishops” are. The difference is that the former are open and honest about it, while the latter walz around like wolves amongst the sheep - looking for someone to devour.

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

I’m pretty sure that the CC has been praying for you people since the 1520’s. Your leaders are just plain stubborn. They still think that the HS is leading them. Now what? Need more proof?

What kind of prayers are you asking?
The only answer I know is for you to CONVERT NOW to true Catholicism!

I read about this in our local newspaper this morning. My question is are they actively practicing homosexuality or are they celibate with same sex attraction? Because I believe that it’s not wrong(sinful) to be a homosexual, just to be sexually active or promote that lifestyle. What is the situation? The newspaper article didn’t say ( of course it was a secular article so I question the accuracy of any of its information) .
Regardless, I will pray for the Anglican Church and the conference.

I daily pray for the unity of all Christians, but in particular I do pray for the Anglican and Orthodox Churches.

They are preaching “another gospel” and leading people to the fires of hell.

Practicing homosexuality has always been condemned.

I think it better to pray for those suffering because, in fact, they are suffering because they affirm something important in Christ’s teaching. Not that I wouldn’t like someone to join our Church. Blessed are those who mourn, a blessing which has to do those who mourn evil and sin in our world.

Not to second-guess your choice of words, but are you quite sure that “ministers of Satan” is the phrase you meant to use?

I pray and have been praying that the Holy Spirit will finally open their minds and hearts and come to realize that they can not mix good and evil. That the Holy Spirit will protect and separate the sheeps from the goats, the wheats from the weeds, the sincere from the proud. But they have to make a positive move that’s in line with the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church’s teachings. And that’s only through following Newman’s and others’… CONVERSION.:signofcross:

The issue is about the homosexual “lifestyle”, but unfortunately the media often makes it sound as though homosexual orientation is the issue.

For example, I have many times heard Robinson described as “the first openly gay bishop in the Anglican communion”, when the truth is that if were “openly gay” but also chaste, it wouldn’t be an issue.

How could you take seriously a priest who takes it up the jacksy?

Sorry if that seems vulgar. My point is to highlight the absurdity of homosexual priests.

The Anglicans have brought this upon themselves. It started with the Reformation. Once Man starts to decide for himself how to worship God, it leaves the door open for all sorts of folly.

The Catholic Church has had a taste of it recently by being lax about who to admit to the priesthood. May these dark decades end in a rebuff of all such persons hoping to take Holy Orders, whether Anglican or Catholic.

One good thing about this controversy; it’s bringing all the perverts and cranks out into the open. Liberality is being pushed to the point of absurdity. All to the long term good.

Neither Wiccans nor Asatru are Satanists, so this statement makes no sense.

Obviously all error and sin work in Satan’s favor. But it is spiritually dangerous to single out particular errors and sins and say that people afflicted with them are “ministers of Satan.”

I am tempted to that think Rush Limbaugh is a minister of Satan because he promotes greed and violence and scoffs at charity. I think he is a far more serious enemy of orthodox Christianity than these homosexual priests. But I recognize that that’s because I happen to be particularly concerned about the evils he represents. I recognize that good Christians can disagree with me.

The Gospel lesson for this past Sunday should give us all pause. Anticipating God’s judgment is a very bad idea.
