Please pray for Woody, who is near death

Dear Friends in Christ: Please join me in prayers for Woody,
an elderly man who is terminally ill because of internal bleeding.

Prayer for Healing

Loving Father, You bring healing to the sick and make
them well again. Trusting in Your great love and mercy,
I lift up to You Woody, who is terminally ill from internal
bleeding. If it is Your Holy will, dear Lord, please heal
Woody. May he find hope in his suffering and offer it as
a share in Your Son’s own Passion.

If it is Your will that he die, give him the grace of full
repentance and a share in Your eternal kingdom. All
this we pray in Jesus’ name through Mary and with
all the angels and saints. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal ( Woody). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Woody’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Dear Jesus, in Your name I ask that you please help Woody and comfort his loved ones.

Please give him a peaceful death and take him home with you. Don’t let him feel any pain.

Holy Mary, St. Joseph the patron of the dying, and St. Faustina, please pray for Woody and his family.
