Lord, I’m sure it’s always a shock to discover one has cancer, it seeming like something that happens to others, not oneself. Please help this person to cope with the diagnosis and to face the recommended treatment with hope and strength. Please may it be successful, and above all, let this person know that You are here with love and blessing.
May Your will be fulfilled in all things, Lord
