Earnest Hart, a 59-year-old homeless man, was found dead Tuesday night behind the Farmers Market in Downtown Jackson.

Hart committed suicide by hanging himself, said Jackson police Capt. Mike Holt. A friend of his found him and called police.

“He was schizophrenic and depressed,” she said. “He was getting a disability check.”

This is terribly sad to me. The article says the family is having trouble paying for burial costs. Please pray for this situation.

God, please bring the soul of this man into your heavenly kingdom. The struggles he must have faced were just too much for him on this earth. Please, God, welcome him into your kingdom. Bring his family and friends peace and surround all homelss people with your love and mercy.
