I arise today
Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity,
Through the belief in the threeness,
Through confession of the oneness
Of the Creator of Creation.
I arise today
Through the strength of Christ’s birth with his baptism,
Through the strength of his crucifixion with his burial,
Through the strength of his resurrection with his ascension,
Through the strength of his descent for the judgment of Doom.

Through the strength of the love of Cherubim,
In obedience of angels,
In the service of archangels,
In hope of resurrection to meet with reward,

In innocence of holy virgins,

Through the strength of heaven:
Light of sun,

Splendor of fire,
Speed of lightning,
Swiftness of wind,

Stability of earth,
Firmness of rock.

Through God’s strength to pilot me:
God’s might to uphold me,
God’s wisdom to guide me,

Thank you all so much! i read and re-read this thread, Tuesday is approaching fast…Thank you for the prayers, i still say Saint Patrick’s shield, i even said it while drifting off asleep. i can remember saying it all the way through. Thank you all so much i again, i need it badly.

i just wanted to let y’all know how much i thank y’all and give y’all an up date.
Court is done now. The hours before hand were difficult; it was like God showing me why i was doing this. God walked beside me on Tuesday and continues to. Even through the bad, i saw God, for that i am grateful. That seems to have always been His gift to me, seeing Him i mean.
i can see that He is setting things up for me, and i shall go where He leads me. i have little fear now to walk away and am ready to go. My back shall turn and my head will raise, i fear nothing. Perhaps this happened to me to tell others of God’s love, for i saw Him all the while. What ever it may be, i will be willing to show others.
He and only He was my father, my mother, my friend and my all. With God’s help i hope to be able to look in the mirror and see God instead of the filth that was left behind. i am working on that and seem to be unafraid to try now.
It has been your kindness and your prayers that have helped. i believe that God brought me to CAF to show me that outside of this place that i reside there are people that care. God shows Himself in y’all and i wanted to thank y’all. i feel my strength growing minute by minute.
