Please pray I find a suitable job, that God may lead me to it. I’ve finished college and struggling to find work. Family has to support me and it’s making me feel quite down

I’ve been in the same boat the last several months since graduation. I recently found a job, but it took a while! Just keep at it and don’t get discouraged, though I understand how worthless it tends to make one feel.
If your parents are supporting you, just put all your effort into finding a job. So long as you’re trying, no one can fault you. The job market is kind of slow right now. Check online job postings, LinkedIn, etc. Email people, maybe talk to local businesses. I don’t know what your field is, but mine was architecture. Sometimes it takes a few weeks or even months to get an email back that might result in an interview that has a tiny chance of resulting in a job offer. It’s tough, and it probably feels hopeless some days, but don’t give up.
Try to find something to occupy your time while you’re waiting to hear back. Maybe cooking for your family or just getting groceries for them. Learn a new skill while you wait. The important thing is to keep yourself busy and engaged so you don’t fall into that trap of thinking too much without doing anything to distract yourself. It’ll get better! I’ll keep you in my prayers.

Even before I was born your hand was at work in the very fabric of my being and through my adult years you have stood by me and provided for me in good times and in times of need and crisis.
I reach out you now O God and ask that you would lead me to the right job.
Open my heart as I search for the right kind of work.
