Please pray I may find sincere Christian friendship

The last few months my best friend and I have grown apart tremendously. He was the only close friend I had and it’s been pretty tough. It’s very hard to imagine why God would allow this. Please pray I may come to know authentic Christian friendship again. Thank you.

Help me to feel your presence.

My heart aches and I feel so alone.

I miss a human touch, someone to take my hand or give me a hug.

I long for someone to tell me everything will be alright.

Please send your Comforter to me and take this loneliness away.

Help me instead of feeling empty, to feel full of the love you have for me.

Help me to know in my heart and remember that according to your Word; I am never alone because you are with me.

Your love and peace is with me, right now, in this moment. I feel it and I am not alone.

And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

The end of a friendship is never easy. It’s harder if your friend ended a relationship that you wanted to hold on to. This would be a good time to step back and look at your life and to make other changes, too. Look at your own friendship skills. Do they need brushing up? Be good to yourself. It’s not easy finding a new friend, but somewhere out there is someone just waiting to meet someone like you. Remember, too, that God is your friend. He is always with you and waiting for you to call on Him. He brings peace and love into our hearts. Yes, I will pray for you that you will find a friend to share life’s joys and sorrows. God bless.
 
Maybe your friendship is just going through a phase. I have had friendships I thought were over and somehow they get renewed after several months or even years.
Praying in the meantime God will bring new friendships for you.
 
Prayer for True Friendship

Jesus, loving companion of Your children,
You have extended Your friendship to all.
You opened Your arms without discrimination,
Offering Your warmth to those seeking comfort.
Endow me with the virtue of such a friendship,
To know, love and trust all on an equal basis;
To share my patronizing without favorism,
And to be pleasant towards the destitute.
Fashion my heart to reflect Your qualities,
Those befitting of a cordial association.
Jesus, You showed me the way to true friendship:
