O Lord, hear my cry pouring out from a troubled heart. The sorrow which clutches at my soul has driven me to You my protector, my True Friend in time of need. You know, my God, all my failings, my faults and my sins as well as the torment gripping my soul. My greatest sorrow should be for my disregard of Your holy commandments in the past, and I sincerely hope that you will grant me the grace of true contrition. O my Savior, hide not Your Face from me in this tribulation, let the light of Your Countenance shine upon me that I may be illuminated by Its love. If it be Your will, lighten this burden from me, yet should it be a means of my salvation, help me, help me O Lord, to carry this cross, for alone I can do nothing. Radiate Your love upon Your prodigal child O Lord, this beggar who knocks at Your door seeking shelter in Your Sacred Heart; this once proud earthen vessel made of clay seeks You, O Christ, and in a newly found faith, firmly believes that you will receive him in Your limitless Love and Mercy. My landlord yelled at me on Monday. Told me that I had to have ALL the rent money by tomorrow or I’m evicted. Seven years of this is killing me. Stress has caused my hair to fall out and it would cost 2,000 to move. Plus, there are no places to move to. All the Section 8 places are rented out and people aren’t moving. I’m stuck like chuck. I can’t buy food because I’m giving the Landlord all my SSI check and I still owe rent. About 100.00. My lease says the Landlord can kick me out for not paying all the rent. I can’t go anywhere to try to get help because I don’t have a vehicle. All the resources in the bigger town close to me depleted their funds. There is no help. Plus, the Landlord told me to go to the Churches. They too do not have funds.

I had a severe panic attack yesterday and still in high anxiety today. I don’t understand why I have to live like this and be disabled. And now I’m wondering why God lets me suffer. It’s not making me stronger. It’s making me feel worse in my mental state and physical pain. I don’t mean to question Him but, I can’t take this. And now I can’t walk with my bad leg.

I’ve prayed and prayed but think I’ve done something that God doesn’t like so…I’m sorry I think this.

God does not punish people with bills because they have done something wrong.

I really know that. It’s that I hurt and wonder why,…being human that’s all. I know God doesn’t punish but sometimes we suffer to learn a lesson. But, boy howdy it’s getting to me.

Thank you for being so concerned and thank you for your suggestion. Where would I go with what you suggest? I tried a gofundme…No givers except for one and GFM took my 20.00 and shut it down.

For @randirhoades As the prayer forum is for prayer only, opening this tread where people can toss out ideas for helping. If I recall, the issue is that you live on an SSI check. Your rent payment is consuming all of your SSI check and still not covering the rent. There is a shortage and you need some ideas about resources. First question, is the shortage for the May rent or are you still paying April? Second, do you feel comfortable to reveal the Diocese you live in?
