Could use prayers. Retaking the exam is expensive and stressful, so I hope I can pass it on the first try.

I hate that exam. I took it maybe a decade ago and a number of the topics at the time were well past their prime. Worst yet it expires in 3 years. In my opinion it’s only good for two things, getting in the door of IT or those in a near Cisco only environment (which is rarely the case). It’s a total money maker for Cisco.Could use prayers. I know the feeling about outdated exam topics. We had an entire chapter and a good chunk of the final of my class on Frame Relay, which isn’t on the actual cert. I’ve already got an A+ and a CCENT, so I’m comfortable with the process of examinations, but since I have to request disability accommodations every time I take a cert, I have to wait longer to retake compared to everyone else.I hate that exam. My prayers for you as I know exactly what you are going through.
Frame relay…there you go. I seem to also remember token ring and even worse, Ethernet hubs.I know the feeling about outdated exam topics.
