Please pray...that my car can be fixed!

On Thanksgiving Day, my son and daughter were driving in my car to visit with their father (who lives about100miles away.) I had them take my car because it is the most reliable and had just been serviced. About 60 miles from home they were involved in an accident. My son rear ended a truck when the freeway came to a screeching stop. My children (they’re 24 and 21) were not injured. The airbags did not deploy. My Corolla took the brunt of the trauma. I have not seen it. It was towed back to my town today. The insurance adjuster called late this afternoon to say that he is not sure whether it will get fixed or totaled. It depends on if the engine has been damaged. I really need to have them fix my car…I am currently not working, I lost my job in Sept., worked a temp job through Oct. and am currently waiting through the employment process to be hired with the Veteran’s Admin. (the best job I’ve ever had!). I am thankful that no one was injured and a realize that my car is just…stuff. But I can’t afford a new car right now, especially since I don’t have a job! Please pray that it can be fixed…

As someone who has only one vehicle (we can’t afford a 2nd one), I completely understand your situation and will be praying for you. God Bless and I hope you get the job, too! 🙂
 
Father, we first come to thank you
for the protection of this womans
children. We thank you for allowing
the car and not their bodies to sustain
the brunt of this accident.
Father, you know the needs of this
woman. We pray that her car can
be repaired and completely paid for
by the insurance company. We pray
that she gets the new job at the
Veterans Administration. You have
aready shown your protection of this
family Lord. You have proven that you

May the Lord be blessed. Whatsoever you do give all to the glory of God.I am sorry for your situation just remember that the Lord can and will work things out for the better. I do of a place that may help you with saving some money on your car insurance.
 
Thank you all for your prayers! I heard from the insurance company this morning. The damage to my car is over 13,000.00.It is truly a miracle that my children were not injured. The insurance company is deeming my car a total loss. But the story does not end there…
I have a friend who is the paint shop manager at the shop…the guys working at the shop are going to take what ever money I get and working for free put my car back to perfect or at least next to perfect for me… isn’t God good.

Prayers for you. Look into being able to title a total loss car. I’m a painter by trade and know that can be a problem sometimes. Most times the insurance company buys it off you and sells the parts. So you will be buying the wreck and fixing it. Check into getting it titled if you buy it. The body shop might be able to do it for you. Tim

My friend…who is the wife of the painter, told me yesterday that all of their cars with the exception of her dh/s new truck (to pull his new boat) started out as total loss cars. You would never know. She drives a raspberry pink mustang that is to die for. Her college age children car’s (my children’s friends since toddlerhood) were acquired the same way, so I trust that he knows what he is doing.
 
Praise the LORD,HE sure hears our prayers!!!.I’m happy for you and that your kids are safe.
