I hope I’m being alarmist, but this skin cancer removal left me with a wound for which I have been exceeding the recommended after care and now looks like it could be turning into a staph infection despite my diligence. The derma clinic has still not called me back…among other problems, but this isn’t the place for that. I can not afford another problem in my life and I don’t need another health problem. Yeah, I get Romans 11:33, so I have to accept on faith that God may be using this to draw me closer to him, but I’m praying that I won’t be put to the test on this one to reference another scripture passage. I’ll gladly wear the label of an alarmist hypochondriac; maybe that should be my prayer.

Praying to Jesus, our Heavenly Physician, in His name for your healing and strength.
Blessed Mother and St. Joseph, St. Anthony and Blessed Solanus Casey, please intercede.
Thank you, Amen.

Right now, a trip to a physician, urgent care center, or the dermatologist is warranted. If I were you, I would simply walk into the dermatologist’s office and tell the receptionist the problem. And show him/her if necessary.
Today, with the misuse of antibiotics over time, staph infections can become very very serious. MRSA, necrotizing fasciitis, and others are nothing to fool around with.
Pray on the way to the office, but get it looked at!

RN in here and I think joey’s advice is spot on. You’re not wrong to go to a UCC but your MD’s office would be better. Call them again today. Prayers sent for you for a speedy recovery!

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, Implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in Thy mercy hear and answer me, Amen.

Thanks

Thanks to all for your prayers. Not staph, bactrim (sp?) RX. How do you close a topic?

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.
