Hello CAF-ers,

A few weeks ago, I posted about a possible surgical procedure. My procedure is scheduled for early next week. Please keep my care team, transport, assistance folks, and myself in your prayers for a safe and effective long-term outcome, successful recovery without complications, and overall future health and good spirits as we enter into the new year.

Prayers for all your intentions. May God grant your health care providers the wisdom and skill for successful treatment. May He also comfort you and give you peace.
 
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent,
but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will,
which is love and Mercy itself.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (iwillriseinfaith). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into iwillriseinfaith’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer for the Apprehensive Patient

Christ said to His loved ones: I am with you, fear not, be not anxious. May I, then, be confident that in the trials and crosses of my life that You, O Lord, will be my constant companion. Whenever I cannot stand, You will carry me lovingly in Your arms.

May I have no fear of what may happen tomorrow. For the same Eternal Father Who cares for me today will take care of me tomorrow and everyday of my life. You, O Lord, will either shield me from suffering or give me strength to bear it patiently. May I be at peace, then and put aside all useless thoughts, anxieties, and worries.

Amen.
 
I pray that the Lord makes this operation go smoothly and according to plan. May the Lord grant you inner strength and courage. Lastly, I pray that He grants you a quick recovery and a blessed new year. Amen.

Lord Jesus,
Please help @iwillrisenowinfaith as he/she prepares
for this operation. In Your love, guard and protect them.
Through the doctors’ skill and the surgical team’s care
bring the OP back to health and full activity. Lord Jesus,
