please pray

I hate asking for prayers for myself when there are so many people in need, but God doesn’t do triage, I guess. Things are kind of in a state of flux for me right now, and I’m uncertain as to what direction things are going to take. Please just pray for me to trust in God, and accept whatever happens in the next few days. Thanks everyone.

Pray for us, Mary that we heed your words.

There were many challenges, injustices and sufferings in your life, but you forgave anyone who caused you difficulty. Your charity was not limited to prayer and forgiveness. No matter how ill you became or how many troubles you faced, you readily gave support and kindness to anyone in need. Your letters comforted and inspired, and your warm heart blessed innumerable people during life.

Anyone in trouble felt restored by your kindness. You encouraged and helped them in practical ways, and drew out the innate goodness in them. You set up schools for the poor. You sat with the dying and consoled the bereaved. You had “the greatest compassion and love” for the poor and orphaned, and you frequently visited the prisons, the hospital, and the Reformatory girls. You helped the homeless and the prostitutes. You calmed two raving condemned murderers and led them to peaceful Confessions.

Even when you were ill and had not eaten all day during your journey to one of your Convents, and joyfully anticipated the warm meal the Sisters prepared you, when a poor man arrived you gave him your meal. You were loving and generous towards others, and appreciative of the goodness in anyone, including those who chose to move against you.

Mary! The Church has pronounced you blessed, and the cause is your unfailing charity. Pray for us, pray for me, pray for our friend Kristie.
 
Dear Lord, please be with kristie_m during this uncertain time. Help her to know that all will be well, and bring her peace. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Please guide Kristie in her time of need. Let her know that wherever life may take her, You will always be guiding her in the right way. We ask this through the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary.
