I need a job and I’ve been applying and sending resumes everywhere I can think of. No one has called me back! 😦 I need to get a job to be able to make “Come and Sees” to discern and I also want to go back to school to major in either Community Health or Psychology. I need to get my Associates degree first from the community college, and to do that, I need to take 2 math courses. Please pray for me!!! I’ve been praying this prayer:
God, our Father,
I turn to You seeking Your Divine help and guidance
as I look for suitable employment.
I need Your wisdom to guide my footsteps along the right path,
and to lead me to find the proper things to say
and do in this quest.
I wish to use the gifts and talents You have given me,
but I need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment.
Do not abandon me, dear Father, in this search,
but rather grant me this favor I seek
so that I may return to You with praise and thanksgiving
for your gracious assistance.
Grant this through Christ, our Lord.

Lord, You have a plan for CarmeliteGirl. Help her to know Your will and to do Your will in all things. May she meet the goals she has set that will offer You all glory and honor. May she find a job soon and be able to get to visit convents in her immediate vacinity while she is unemployed. Maybe she might find she has a vocation to one of those convents and doesn’t even need much more than the two math courses to complete her education. Bless CarmeliteGirl, Lord, and make her a saint, if she isn’t one already. Amen.

They are working! I just got a callback today from a home healthcare place that I was really interested in and she wants to set up an interview! 😃 I have to fill out a job application since I sent them a resume, but that’s no biggie! I called the office and left a message, so now I’m waiting to hear back about an interview appointment. Prayers please that this goes very well if it’s God’s will! This is an awesome opportunity because I would be able to go back to school since the job is flexible!!! :extrahappy:

Thank you all for your prayers! I am getting excited because I’m supposed to hear back tomorrow about a job interview from the Senior Helpers. I still need to print out the job application and fill it in, but I’m all over it right now. 😃 I think this job is in the bag!

Jesus, keep me ever mindful of your plan for my life and never permit me to do anything apart from your will. I have faith that you will lead me by the right road if I place all my trust in You. I resign myself to Your will. Not what I want, but only what You want, my Holy and Loving Savior. Amen.
