I have a couple of requests:

One of my sons is mentally ill and i suspect is doing pot and alcohol (self-medicating) rather than staying on his meds…he also wants nothing to do with us, even though we did what we had to, so that he could get help…he sees it when on his meds, and when not, we are kinda “back at square one…”

My oldest son has hurt himself badly at work, he lost the nerves on his right scapula and also 5 muscles, and they are trying to save three of them…we won’t know much more till the 14th. Pray that the Specialist will back us up so that his appeal with WCB can be fought well…He is coming home to live, since they put him in the “poorhouse,” stopped treatment and won’t pay his wages…

Pray for us as we adjust to having a house full at the end of the month…

And lastly, I need physical healing. I live with Chronic Pain --I have several back injuries, compressed disks in my neck and Fibromyalgia. I offer up my suffering most of the time, but lately it’s been doubly hard, as i had been hit with a flu bug of some sort and can’t seem to get my equilibrium back…

I have never posted a prayer request…most of the time i focus on others, but i just feel a little overwhelmed.

Motherof4, You have a lot on you’re plate at the minute, please don’t feel bad asking for prayer’s for yourself and family , being a mum myself and also a sufferer of long term back pain i understand that no matter how much pain you are in you still put you’re children first and yourself last. I will keep you and you’re sons in my prayers. God bless.
 
Jenni I ask God to keep you in my prayers not till the fading of this request thread into the past, but for as long as you all live.

Lord, I pray for Jenny and her sons. May they all experience healing of mind, body and spirit from all that has harmed them in the past and from all that is still hurting them in the present. Grant them your healing love in their lives to help out the son who is suffering from mental illness; to help the son with nerve and muscle problems and to help Jenny, who is quite overwhelmed and suffering from back and neck problems, fibromyalgia, the flu and the stresses that come with her family’s problems. Bless this family and may their eating meals together and going to Mass together (if possible) strengthen and deepen the bonds that are already there. I pray that Jenny’s son who is using drugs will go to the healing Sacrament of Confession and be reconciled to you, our Lord, who is the great Physician who wants to heal him and will heal him with Jenny’s son’s “fiat.” Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.
