for the curate at our Church.
A few weeks ago at Mass, he couldn’t even give the homily because he had fallen ill that morning, nor could he give out the Blessed Sacrament. We heard afterwards that he would not be well and may need a few weeks recouperation. Last week we had a visiting priest because our Parish Priest was on holiday - this week our parish priest was back, he didn’t say much about the curates illness, but from the tone of his voice, I take it that he is quite ill. He also is elderly (well his late 70’s), so it may take more out of him.
