Dear All,

I have an urgent list of prayers. First, for the city where I live. There was a major police shooting and the judge (bench trial) found him not guilty and basically exonerated him. Please pray that the truth comes out and that he faces justice (it seems that not everything came out in trial) and that the city remains peaceful.

To do well in all my endeavors. Esp. to make friends with a certain person that I have known, to get my own house that I am looking at, and to do well in my phd. I had a bad review and they were going to advise that I not complete the program even though there was wrong information given as to my due date. I pray I can complete it and not have to appeal their decision.

For my family and several family members. One is going deaf in one ear and has dementia and arthritis of the collar bone; another has dementia and arthritis of the knee;, my dada who had knee replacement in November and is having trouble and has memory and behavioral issues. Another relative is wheelchair bound after breaking his hip and had colon cancer.

For our pet dog.

For peace with our neighbors, esp. a certain one that lives across the street and lost her roommate (moved out) and has added expenses after buying a new car wand takes her problems out on my family.

For me to keep my peace and sanity.

For the rest of my intentions. May has not really been a good month to me

About the trail for the police officer. Try not to judge at this late date, but do pray for the police officer, the Judge and esp. for the families.

I pray that the PHD quest goes well, but if it doesn’t, lots of very successful people do not have PHDs.

Dementia; hmm, I think I have a little of that as well as being HOH, bad knees and joints, as well lazy-ites. Life goes on.

Buying a house? Well, home ownership acquires a host of big and little problems, such as a leaking roof(hope it doesn’t rain tonight)and various other aggrivations.

While all the things that you have requested prayers for are important to you I think of all the people that do not have a roof over their heads, sleep on dirt floors and would love to have your dog in their strew pot. Yes, I know that sounds awful and gross, but count your many blessings and give thanks that you live in a country that is relatively free.

So, I sound mean and callus? Nope, just older and wiser. I will pray for you and all your needs.
