I am working hard to keep things together, but feel as if they are falling apart around me, and I am feeling panicky.

If my husband and I don’t soon receive some finanical relief, even with our jobs, due to loss of income over the past years we may lose our home.

My son, who was in a halfway house this summer, I fear is maybe using again. His girlfriend tells me about money issues that don’t add up. They are large sums of money. He will not come clean about it to either of us. He keeps saying everything is fine.

I am having a panic attack as I write this. I am working hard to place this in God’s hands and leave it there and to prepare myself for whatever He has in store, but I’m having trouble with the anxiety and stress. Please pray for me to know how to handle what comes my way. Thank you and may God bless you.

I will pray for the Lord to give you the strength and courage you need to carry your many crosses. I am sure that He will not give you more than you can take, but never give up in your prayers for your family, finances and especially your son. I think it is tragic when a mother gives up on her son who uses drugs. You son suffers at the hands of drug use too. I have an aunt who has given up praying for her son now for 10 years. He was and is a user since the young age of 9 and is now 33 yr old and still has not given up the habit. I tell her not to give up on him, but she says that God is not listening and she has stopped going to Mass as well.

I know that your heart aches for your son for I have seen all that my cousin has put his mother through and it is horrible. I pray for them both and that is all I can do. I will pray for you and your family. Don’t ever give up and I see that you are not now otherwise you would not be asking for prayers.

May the Lord keep you so close to His Sacred Heart and may our Blessed Mother and St. Anne pray for your finances to improve. I ask St. Joseph and St. Augustine and Pope John Paul II to pray for your son to kick the habit.

Thank you so much for your graciousness. Your beautiful reply and promise of prayer put tears in my eyes.

I would not, nor could not, EVER give up on this child of mine. My love for him causes a physical ache through this. I pray very hard for him - rosaries, countless Novenas, beseeched all I can think of. Prayer is the only tool we have to heal as it is in our Father’s hands. I will also never give up on prayer. In my heart I am resolved to accept our Father’s will, but struggle with the reality of it. I will continue to try.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

O Jesus, I humbly implore you to grant your special graces to this family. Send your angel from heaven to visit and protect, to comfort and defend this family. Grant special relieve for the nervousness and panic attacks. I beg of you lord to fill this home with peace, purity, love, labor and faith. AMEN

I have placed your petitions within my heart and will carry them with me to Mass and I will remember your petitions in my daily prayers.

Hail, Holy Queen! Mother of Mercy! Hail our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, O Most Gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of they womb, Jesus. O Clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Amen.

My deepest gratitude for prayers being offered. I still feel as if there is something lodged in my throat, and have trouble sleeping through the nigh, waking up with all this on my mind, but am working hard to surrender to our Lord. I will continue to strive to accept God’s will with grace and courage to be worthy of your prayers. God bless you.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be adored, glorified, loved and preserved throughout the world now and forever, amen.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, pray for us.
St. Jude worker of miracles, pray for us.
