Hurricane Earl is heading for the east coast of the US. Most of us know how devastating a hurricane can be. The tragedies caused by Hurricane Katrina are still with us. This is a frightening time for many people.

I am requesting prayers for those in Hurricane Earl’s path and specifically that the hurricane does not veer west and remains off the coast.

For further info on Earl, please click on the following link:

Dear Lord,
I offer up my pain today for the people who will be affected by Hurricane Earl. Please don’t let it veer west. Please protect those precious people who are so full of worry right now.

This rosary is for those in the path of Hurricane Earl.

In the Name of the Father,
and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

I believe in one God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth
and in Jesus Christ, His only son, our Lord
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell; on the third day He arose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father;
from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the Communion of Saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, holy be Thy Name.
Focus Your Light upon us; make it useful. Create Your reign of unity now.
Your one desire then acts with ours, as in all light, so in all forms.
Grant what we need each day in bread and wisdom. Loosen the ties of mistakes
binding us as we release the strands we hold of others’ guilt.
Do not let surface things delude us but free us from what holds us back.
From You is born the ruling will, the power and the life to do,
the song that beautifies all; from age to age it renews.
Truly, power to these words! May they be the ground from which all my actions grow.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee,
Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee,
Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Dear Holy Jesus, please forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell,
take our souls to heaven, and help those most in need of Thy mercy. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, blessed art Thou among
women and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

The Carolinas have been battered for about five hours now.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

PATER NOSTER, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

AVE MARIA, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

GLORIA PATRI, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto. Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper, et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

Hail Holy Queen!! Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in
this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Oh clement! Oh loving! Oh sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, oh holy mother of God, that we
may be worthy of the promises of Christ.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
