To All,

I thank you for your prayers from the bottom of my heart. They have helped me greatly.

Last night was one of the hardest nights I have passed in awhile. I spent all night up with my friend. I am so very tired, I did get some sleep. My friend slept well and is continuing to sleep well to my knowledge today.

I have realized that I am but a poor instrument that God is working through. I am so weak and very tired. I am on the verge of just collapsing with exhaustion, it will be 5 weeks this coming Monday. But pray that I have the strength to go on and that I will continue to be small before God in all things, including this circumstance.

My friend seems to be doing a little better after last night.

Merciful God ,we thank you for helping Little One’s friend and for helping Little One herself .We pray Heavenly Father that , by Your Love and Compassion , You will continue to help Little One’s friend so that her faith and trust in You will be restored and that You will bring her peace in mind and spirit . Amen .

May Almighty God grant my friend all the graces that she is in most need of during this time. May she be given all the graces that she needs to come to a closer Union with God and His Church. May God heal her in all areas that she is in most need in accordance to His Most Holy and Perfect Divine Will. Please Lord, reach to her and please pull her from the pit of despair.

Please give me the graces and strethes that I am in most need of during this time to help my friend. May I grow in closer union to You and Your Church so I too can help my friend.

May the most just, the most lovable, and the Most High Will of God be done, be fulfilled, be priased and exalted in all things forever. Amen.
 
May Saint Michael and all the Holy Choirs of Angels protect your friend from others wishing to do harm and any evil thoughts :knight1:

My friend has been through many medical tests and nothing has popped up. She has been subjected to a lot of tests both medical and psychological. Her medical charts would reach the moon [well maybe a bit of exaggeration.] I responded to another poster, that I believed this is a spiritual attack of some sort.

I did advise my friend to cut down on excess caffieen though, so that is a good idea. My friend is subject to frequent migraine headaches and perhaps this will help.

Hello. I think you are on the right track in terms of listening to an earlier poster about the spiritual attack.

At this point, is it possible for your friend to be institutionalized until this whole thing blows over? My concern is for you. Also, she needs for you to be there and strong for her. If you end up in the hospital. It won’t help either of you.

I am also wondering if she is truly taking her medication. I say that because we know someone who was also have mental health issues. We were asked to look in on this woman a couple of times. The woman told her family that she was taking the medication, but it was clear to us that she was not. It turns out, she did not like how she felt while on the medication, but she did not voice that to the doctor. Instead, she stopped taking it all together. She finally spoke to the doctor only after a member of her family confronted her. Anyway, things finally started to move in the right direction. I think it also helped that we put our foot down, and told the family that we had responsibilities, and we could not go running to help her everytime she decided not to take her medication. It was not an easy thing to do, but we believe that this tough love helped her and her family make the wise choices in her situation. All is well with her now.

Heavenly Father, in faith, I thank You for moving Your powerful hands in this situatuion. Thank You Lord for smoothing over the path for One and her friend. Thank You God for blessing her friend with healing, and for blessing One on all levels. Amen.
 
Father, we thank you that there has been some progress for LittleOne’s friend. I pray for you to give her inner peace, the peace that passes all understanding, as only you can give. I pray you will heal her innermost problems.

bevsue- You’re most welcome. I read a brief biography on St. Ignatius of Loyola that stated he too was severely depressed and even considered suicide. <–I’ve also come to learn about St. Ignatius of Loyola when a close family member suffered depression and had suicidal thoughts.

Little One, your friend has been in my prayers and will continue to be… She is so blessed to have a friend in a you. Truly blessed. I pray for her healing and your strength in every way. This prayer is for you,

Father, I ask you to bless my friend reading this right now.

Lord, show them a new revelation of Your love and power.

Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment.

Where there is pain, give them Your peace & mercy.

Where there is self-doubting, release a renewed confidence in Your ability to work through them.

Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I ask You to give them understanding, patience, & strength as they learn submission to Your leading.

To All who have been praying my greatful thanks and appreciation. My friend will be going to Confession again tomorrow and will God willing attend Mass. My friend quit doing her ministry as she feels like shes being a hypocrite by doing so. I am just thankful that she made it to Mass and Confession last week and am hoping for a repeat performance.

I hope and pray that God will reach her. She seems to be a bit more reasonable this week, though there were some rough spots. Please pray for the priest who is helping her.

Please pray that I will have the grace to follow the guidance and counsel of my Spiritual Director in all circumstances, but most especially this one.
