Please read. Please pray for a special friend of mine

little one, i read through your thread a couple day ago, but it was from my phone so i couldn’t really type. i just wanted to let you know that i said a rosary for her and will continue to keep the both of you in my prayers.

does she have energy to just sit back and read? there are some good books out there that could act as strong medicine.

may God bless you for being such an loving friend.
 
May Almighty God grant my friend all the graces that she is in most need of during this time. May she be given all the graces that she needs to come to a closer Union with God and His Church. May God heal her in all areas that she is in most need in accordance to His Most Holy and Perfect Divine Will. Please Lord, reach to her and please pull her from the pit of despair.

Please give me the graces and strethes that I am in most need of during this time to help my friend. May I grow in closer union to You and Your Church so I too can help my friend.

May the most just, the most lovable, and the Most High Will of God be done, be fulfilled, be priased and exalted in all things forever. Amen.

Oh thanks so much for saing a rosary and thank you for continuing to keep us in your prayers.

Yes she is reading, if you have any suggestions I am so open to suggesting them to her. The priest that she is working with is having her read too. At least she is open to that, I am thankful of that.

God, please grant Little One’s friend strength and pull her out of her despair so she may happily continue to live her life and believe in You.
I hope that God will answer all our prayers and help your friend.

well i guess it would depend on what’s stumbling her the greatest. if her faith is weak and she needs some affirmation, i think chesterton and his sense of humor could be just the thing. orthodoxy might be good. if she needs some light reading that focuses on mercy for sinners then maybe post something describing that on this thread and hopefully you can get some better help than what i’m giving. let me think about it as i’m rather groggy right now.

Hi,

I got Orthodoxy, I’ll recommend it to her. I’ll check out that thread too. As you can see I am still up trying to catch up on things. Hopefully I’ll be in bed within two more hours. 😃
