Hello,

I am not quite ready to enter the Catholic Church and so am looking for a compromise while I continue my research. Can someone recommend a good Anglican Church in the Toronto (Ontario) area? It’s time I started attending church regularly again.

I’ve tried a few over the past year and they’ve not been good experiences by any definition. Yet I know of at least one solid one (St. Thomas’s, a bit small for my taste) and again, of one of the highest quality in the Northern States - and so is quite too far to commute to.

I’m looking for a relatively conservative one, I’ve too much Catholic in me to go all the way to the left but again, not quite enough Catholic in me to enter the Catholic Church (so far). Anglican right now might be where I’m best suited to be at this stage of my life.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,

John

Friend,

Entering the Catholic Church is not an instantaneous event, anyway. All converts are Confirmed when they are ready, not before. For most, there is at least a year of instruction.

If you have not yet taken RCIA classes, it would be good for you to start. 🙂
