*It doesn’t sound silly, not everyone is comfortable with cold-calling. My husband was another who found what you are doing stressful. It’s brave of you to persevere. Please look after yourself. You’d be surprised, though, at how many people suffer some social anxiety. I used to be extremely shy, but now I work to put others at ease, in contact, and seem to do this well. I pray the same for you. *

Dear Lord, You have blessed this person with some progress in gaining confidence in dealing with others, please bless this person with strategies to cope with anxiety, and to deepen in understanding that others also have their vulnerabilities and uncertainties, even if disguised.
If this person is radically unsuited to the job, then I ask that You will assist with a more suitable position.
Dear Lord, please bless this person in all things.
