Well in either case may God help you get through this…Aw, thank you…this is a very sweet prayer. It’s not a hospital, but an outpatient something or other. lolI just wished that I used sun screen all those years I sun bathed and surfed on the beach! (Yes, I used to surf) LOL!

Surfer girl eh?? Pretty sweet!!I wished I knew how to surf…
LAME!! I know…
lol

Thank you so much! I actually have pretty fair skin and green eyes for an Italian girl! My mom was irish, so I must have inherited her side, more than my dad’s. My sister is darker, with brown eyes…so she hasn’t had too many problems, but I told her to go get a full body checkup every year. I was amazed at how thorough they are with the full body–holy cow! There is skin cancer in my family (my father had a melanoma when he was still in medical school,) so I am inclined to stress out over skin growths–Fortunately, the very serious ones are pretty rare. I have fair skin and blue eyes, however, so I have the kind of skin that is susceptible to dangerous skin cancers.
Try not to worry too much. You should be fine. I think I read in one of your posts that you are Italian. Do you have dark skin, and have you been a sun-worshipper in the past? At any rate, basal cell carcinomas are slow-growing as you pointed out–but you might want to start slathering on the sunblock when you go outside from now on!
Praying for you, Dear!
I will pray for you, I recently had that type of surgery for basil cell myself, it was a breeze, Good Luck!I humbly ask you guys to please pray for me…I will be having skin surgery tomorrow morning at 8am. I asked Mary for her prayers today, and at mass last night. It’s not major surgery (I had a mole removed a while ago, and it came back positive for basal cell carcinoma, a slow growth skin cancer) but still. I’m a little nervous. I know Jesus will take care of me, no matter what. I should fear nothing.
Thank you for your prayers. You’re the best.

Oh good to know–and did you end up with a scar at all? How long were you wearing a bandage? If it weren’t on my face, I really probably wouldn’t be fretting.I will pray for you, I recently had that type of surgery for basil cell myself, it was a breeze, Good Luck!![]()
