Please say a prayer for me

It is highly possible, according to my psychiatrist, that I have some degree of aspergers disorder.

If anyone could say a prayer for me, i would appreciate it.

where i work, alot of people, i think, think i am a hypocrite, a snob, a wierdo, a nerd, a dork, and maybe even gay.

it is because I am highly socially inept, awkward, and terribly self-conscious. For this reason, I walk funny and nervous, stray away from conversation, and when in conversation, am very awkward and stupid.

This is despite the fact that academically, I am aberrationally intelligent.

This is the source of my anger, it hurts and is frustrating.

Any prayers would be appreciated.

I know others have crosses, but psychological crosses can be hard, too.

Thank you for any prayer or words of encouragement you can give.

Sounds like me when I was young. It’s pretty tough but give it a bit of regular prayer and dedication… and gradually over time…

I’m saying a Pater Noster, Ave Maria and a Gloria Patri for you.

I will keep you in my prayers, spauline. I was so shy when I was younger, your post brings back memories, sure does. I’ll pray for you and for conversion of those people who torment you too.

I pray that the people you work around will come to recognize your difference one way or another and they will accept you and respect you for who you are and treat you like an equal. This is very difficult, I can highly relate because I have Bipolar Disorder and can be anti social and am not very funny ect with a high sense of humor or considererd and I am not “one of the guys” in like a group of 4 or 5 peers and was taunted and shown the least respect. But occassionaly you do find those individuals or small groups whether it be in employment or not where the people accept you despite your differences (they may even have similar differences and thats why their more accepting).

So therefore Spauline I not only pray that your current social network comes to accept you more but that you if not, doors will open in your life that lead you to new friends who will be more caring and respectful. Peace be with you.
