It has come to my attention that some posters have been very rude to others, including clergy and religious.

The forum is an open community where everyone may express an opinion, as long as they do so respectfully. In the TC Forum, opinions must reflect Catholic thought, simply because this forum is about Catholicism, not your thoughts just because you’re Catholic.

Having said this, we must remember to respond politely to the opinions of others If you can’t say something polite, don’t post it.

Remember, just because your identity is hidden by a screen name, does not relieve you from culpability for sins against charity and justice.
 
THANK YOU for this. While I hate and abhor using the “ignore” facility sometimes it is a very real blessing.

We cannot see each other;s state and needs and infirmities. Need always to remember that . Posting in the darkness…
 
I think I’ll save this thread as a referral/reminder for me and others who have a lapse of memory. 🙂
