What a great idea, if I were in your parish I would enjoy all of the list. It reminds me a little of Protestant Sunday school time. God bless you.

Our parish is currently do this series, thegreatcourses.com/tgc/courses/course_detail.aspx?cid=6640
“The Catholic Church: A History” by William Cook. It is a lecture series on the history of the Church broke up into 36 segments (videos) and we love it. It comes with a course guide which includes discussion questions for each segment. Each video is about 30 minutes and with discussion our class lasts an hour (during PSR). We started it last year and will continue it this year.

Prior to this we did this series, catalog.franciscanmedia.org/Product.aspx?ProductCode=D4100 “An Introduction to the Bible” by William Burton. It is a 6 part lecture video on bible history. Each part is about 1 hr long and extremely interesting.
