Isn’t that ridiculous. Its a Catch 22 technique. Because it will make pro-lifers who protest at the clinic feel like their contributing to the abortion agenda because of the money people will donate from their numbers…Really sneaky and sleazy

Money is the bottom line of all abortion mills, always has been. Sidewalk counselors take heart and stay the course. Your work is blessed and fruitful. Just the other day a young girl came to our pregnancy center after she was given information by a sidewalk counselor as she was entering an abortion mill for an abortion. She will be keeping her baby.

Sneaky and sleazy? How? It’s quite honest and up-front, and, I must say, an absolutely brilliant idea for a fundraiser. If you’re going to get picketed, why not work it for your own advantage?

Raising money from people who are trying to defend the unborn at a murdering factory is briliant?

If you want to defend the unborn, picketing is not the way to do it. That’s the easy way out – hold up a sign for a few hours, hurt those who are already victims, show your gore pornography to the world, pack in your billboards and signs and call it a good day’s work. What are you affecting? Nothing. Go and make abortion a truly undesirable thing for everyone, not just the people on the sidewalk – then, and only then, will you be able to claim a victory for the ‘pro-life’ side. Make life a better option, not just another tragedy.

I do not claim that abortion is good; only that it is, perhaps, the lesser evil to choose. I don’t like the fact that many have to choose it over whatever alternatives there may be. But until it is the utter least of those alternatives, you’re doing nothing, nothing at all, except stroking your own egos, venting your disapproval on people who have likely already felt that lash from others. You have better things to do with your time than that, I hope and pray, in my own fashion. Go and make abortion unnecessary. Make it the worst of all choices. Make the world a better place for having every possible infant brought to term, for mothers, fathers, children, everyone. Until you can and will and do that, you’re no warrior for good, but only another oppressor.

Do it. Change the world, not through picketing or legislation, but through your own good – change it, and make it better. This isn’t itself a necessity; it is only so because of our condition, that we are imperfect and fallen. Change it, bring us closer to whatever you consider Good, and make this distressing fact a thing no longer needed.

There are many facets to the pro-life movement. Many approaches to end abortions. Maybe you’d like to share specific examples of what you think will “change the world”? Everyone has their own ideas on that. That little baby that was saved by the sidewalk counselor mentioned in my previous post may someday have children and grandchildren and great grandchildren and so on. Who knows how all of them will touch someone else, in essense changing their world. That baby’s mother was most certainly affected and she was very greatful that a sidewalk counselor was picketing that abortion mill that day. There are many more like her too.

Pro-Life isn’t just picketing. It gets on media, the internet, Christian Schools, adoption referals, the news(george tiller), and alternative foundations some of which are built right next to the abortion clinics…

Oh yea, and if you think picketing is not effective, there are many women walking in to the clinics who see them and chose not to do the abortion. And thus a life is saved. So it does help…I believe one group has saved around almost 2000 lives because they were there on the streets trying to help the women who were going to have an abortion…

Idk much about what public schools are doing about it. But surely they aren’t supporting abortion I hope. Are there pro-life groups in public schools??
