Dear CAF Members,

Could you please advise me, how to obtain plenary indulgence for my aunt who deceased today? My first action was to go to church - I already made my confession, and am going to attend Holy Mass in 20 minutes. I also spent an hour before the Blessed Sacrament, praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and prayed for the intentions of the Holy Father.

Could you please advise me, what should I do after attending Holy Mass? Is there a devotion by which I can specifically obtain a plenary, or at least partial indulgence, for my beloved Aunt’s soul?

Thanks for the advice!

If you have not done so, offer a mass in her name. This is done by contacting the parish office.

Sorry to hear about your aunt, Joseph. May the Almighty God rest her soul in eternal peace and may the Holy Spirit, the comforter, console you and the family. Amen. Peace, Rina
