Pls pray for me (re: job interviews)

So, I have 4 summer job interviews, all which are going to take place on Thursday.

Anyways, I need some people to pray for me to have the strength to do all 4 of them.

Thing is, 2 of the jobs I do not want. I was desperate and in panic (i.e. i didnt want to find a job during exam time…and it’s already late in the term), so I applied to them…through my school’s website…and now I can’t cancel the interviews. They are in remote locations, and I have no car (the jobs themselves didnt say that i required a car, but now with some research, i dont want to be stranded in middle of no where).

I am going to sign off one of these 2 jobs (after interview, i can go to my job coordinator so that the interviewer cant pick me…weird, since I am not allowed to sign off the interview).

however, i know that this job coordinator will be very rude to me (she doesnt want me to sign off the job), so pls pray to give me strength to defend my position.

the other two are located at my university. both are very good jobs in the research environment. hopefully i will get either of those.

I will pray for you to get the job that suits you best. 🙂

St. Joseph, Patron Saint of workers, you know how much we need to balance our work and our lives; please pray for Anka, that she will get the job that will give her the most benefit this summer, with career related experience, good money, and easy to get to from home. :signofcross:

Praying you will have the strength to do what you feel is best for you and that God will be there holding your hand as you do these interviews.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Thanks all!

I was able to sign off/cancel one job no problem 👍 and i got the job I really wanted. In fact, I was offered both jobs that I wanted.

That’s the strength of prayers. Thanks again 🙂
