Point of using NFP to avoid pregnancy

Ok but the hysectimey( excuse my 2nd grade spelling) thing isnt that go against church teaching because it is contraception, as is a visectomy(again excuse spelling).

No. A tubal ligation would be like a vasectomy. They are types of contraception. A hysterectomy is usually done for cancer or disease and the church is fine with taking out organs that are making us sick.

If a hysterectomy is done for the purpose of contraception (sterilisation) it is immoral.

If a hysterectomy is done to treat a medical condition (ie remove a diseased organ) and sterlisation is an unintended side-effect, it is moral.

Vasectomy is always done for sterlisation so is always immoral.

what is serlisation mean
 
ok i see, so should i read the theology of the body right? I have the original book and another one that summarizes it and summarizes other encyclicals as well related to it. Is that ok?

Anyway please pray that i would get past this confusion i am still sorta having about sex. Thanks again, you guys helped me.
 
Maybe you can think of it this way… If God wanted a married couple to get pregnant every time they have sex, he would have made the woman be fertile for her entire menstrual cycle, rather than making her fertile for a few days of the cycle and infertile for the rest of the days of the cycle. There must be another purpose to sex because married couples who are in love want to have sex much more often than they are fertile.
