Just for the record, this pointless thread is eight pages long.

Which should give us an indication of how productive threads with points actually are given most of those don’t reach 8 pages of comments.

Sorry to ask you to make something of a point, but how does one do that?
Near the top of this or almost any CAF page, look for the CAF menu,

click on Profile… Control Panel… Edit Options, or click here

scroll down to the Thread Display Options,

then select the Number of Posts to Show Per Page,

finally scroll to the bottom of that page and click on Save Changes.

Thanks… much better!

You don’t understand. My point was… I mean… an experiment could, in principle, … um… you know, it’s in the eye of the beholder… and, uh… if the hypothesis is not… ah… er, if there is no… I mean, if the so-called experimenter has… just… if he does…

Oh, blast it all, now I’ve lost the thread. 😦
LOL!

Squirrel!!!
and also to you.
I thought that the correct response to ‘squirrel!’ was “and with your spirit”…? :hmmm:

Squirrel!!!
A superlative suggestion, sir, with just two minor flaws. One, we don’t have any squirrels, and two, we don’t have any squirrels. Now I realise that, technically speaking, that’s only one flaw but I thought it was such a big one it was worth mentioning twice.
