I see, so you’re adapting with the times. 🙂

I’m still reeling from the announcement of an 18th type, but hopefully it’ll make dragon type less overpowered. I think dragons were only weak against ice, right? (And themselves.) but if you taught them a fire-type attack, they would be able to take out ice types without any problems. 🤷

Anyways. I do think fairy type is actually a good idea from a mechanics standpoint.

EDIT: My favorite pokemon are Gardevoir and eevee. One of which is now a fairy type, and the other one can evolve into a fairy type. 😛

Alakazam is still my favorite. Oh, and my opinion of Gen 6. I was going to quit after Gen 5. Then they added a new type, a customizable avatar, diagonal movement, 1v5 wild battles, the ability to ride certain pokemon around town, and a region large enough to warrant 3 regional dexes. And a fire starter that DOESN’T dual type to fighting

And this is why I am caving in and getting a 3DS. :o

fairy type is strong against dragons…in case you were wondering.👍

I stopped watching it when they started going into crazy mythology.

Now they have a pokémon called “Arceus” who in the manga and games is worshipped as the “GOD” pokémon that “created knowledge, space, time, anti-matter, willpower and the pokéworld” but got hurt trying to save it from a meteor and was “sealed in the earth” by a bad man.

A descendant of the bad man tried to unseal the “God pokémon” to get it to destroy humanity.

Somehow the main characters go into the past to prevent the seal from ever happening and save Arceus to spare the world from its anger. After preventing all that, Arceus fixes everything in the present and realises that though he has amazing powers he is a creature apart from the creator of the pokéworld.

Before they got into all that mythology it was a nice series. My favorite characters were Mewtwo and Charmander.

I haven’t seen the anime for years now, and I only watch about six of the movies. While the anime had some fun ideas in it, the games are far superior. 🙂

My daughter’s schizophrenia was fed by “Horizons”, a visually stunning online computer game. She even built her own computer to accommodate it with an $800 video card. Dragons are not “fun”, they are the sign of Satan.

Look out the window. There’s a real world out there. There are people you can actually talk to and interact with. If you are unable to do that, find a very good therapist (cognitive behavioral therapy) and ask your doctor to referral to a psychiatrist who specializes in diagnosis and psychopharmacology. And I’m not joking.

There’s a rabbit hole on the Internet. It has gobbled up many. Don’t be one of them. Fair warning.

Are you serious? I understand that people can become obsessed with games, but that’s true of anything. Anything can lead us away from God if pursued for the wrong reasons and without moderation.

I’m a young person. When I played pokemon seriously, it was something that all of my cousins and many of my friends were also playing. We battled each other and traded pokemon together. It was a social activity, and I think I’m better for it.

There’s nothing wrong with enjoying fantasy and fiction in moderation.
