But since a 1st grader doesn’t know what he wants to do, and we have no way of knowing what he will be good at (or like), we should make sure that he has access to a very good education.

A kid came to the local suburban elementary school from a city Catholic school in 3rd grade. He was about a year and a half behind the other kids. And that Catholic school out-performs the public schools. Imagine how far behind the city public school kids are!!

100% agree with you!! I had to trudge though maths for years until I failed twice! (In NZ you can drop the subject once you reach your forth year of high school).

I’ve never used any of the maths past about age 10 anyway so what a waste of time … esp when you consider I have a history / religion degree and use that everyday and could not even begin to learn history until about my third year of high school!
 
I wonder if anyone has registered as a SITH Lord? But then again only two people at a time could register; remember they only exist two at a time :eek:
