Police: Man Threatens to Bomb Catholic Church in Daytona Beach, Florida

When mass started last Sunday evening, a man went in front of the church, then blocked the priest from walking up and made obscene hand gestures. When he was ushered out of the church, he shouted if anyone called police, he would come back and bomb the church. He is being held in jail on a $15,000 bond.

I’ve witnessed one disruption of Mass in my life, of all things and this is true, this man really did have his hair long, light brown in color, full beard and wearing a white robe so in fact, he really did look somewhat like Christ and during the Mass, I don’t think he acted ugly but still walked in and acted a bit disruptive and was ushered out.

Here in the last 2 years, I read a story of a man threatening a Church, he was arrested and I think put under counseling and given a psychiatric evaluation.

This story from Florida sounds a bit similar though threatening to bomb is probably more severe.
