You have made a straw-man. You are trying to make it appear that I was making an absolute statement transcending all conditions. This is not true.The OP still hasn’t proved what he wanted to prove, namely, that you must support “gay rights”. No, he’s “proven” that if you support “separation of church and state” then you must support “gay rights”.
If you follow the argument correctly you will see that my intent was to show that if you support the split between church and state then you must support gay rights as a legality. Gay rights is not inconsistent with a society that produces laws on a pragmatic basis.
