POLL FOR GUYS: What is most important in selecting a spouse?

This is a follow-up to my previous poll. I’d appreciate it if only guys answered in it! Married guys can answer too 🙂

I don’t really think any of these options is the most important. The most important feature would be the woman’s faith and values, which I don’t think is covered by any of the options given. That’s not to say that I don’t think that some of the options listed are important, but they are not the most important.
 
FYI, I chose the first choice: how affectionate she is. 😃 And I’m honest about that too. Although I do find being able to talk with her, and sharing interests with her very important, too.

I have no idea. The current paradigm seems to be working alright: Pretty, faithful (unfortunately Protestant), smart, ambitious, pretty, loyal, kind, knowledgeable of Scripture, and, oh…pretty.

I’ll let you know how it goes…
 
Is she a devout Catholic? How’s her relationship with God? What are her priorities?

eveytime someone trys to crawl out of a hole, your pulling them back in… come on… glass is half full… 😃

Those criteria narrowed down 97% of the population and I chose my wife from the remaining 3%.

We are happily married
 
I chose option one. But not in relation to myself.

I knew that I wanted to marry the woman who is now my wife after I saw how she interacted with children.

This reminded me of this joke…I hope I don’t butcher it…

…Smart Italian Mother…

A mother goes to have dinner with her son (Tony), and his roomate (Angela). Mom is “old fashioned” and doesn’t like the fact that her Tony is sharing an apartment with Angela. Tony insists that its a platonic relationship and that there is no hanky panky going on. Both Tony and Angela have their own bedrooms and bathrooms and they live together just because they are good friends. Mom is suspicious none the less.

Mom goes to have dinner with Tony and Angela at the apartment, and the three have a great meal and fine conversation. Mom keeps an eye on the pair to make sure there isn’t really something going on between the two. Things looked innocent enough, but she was still unsure. She couldn’t get over the feeling that the two were sleeping together…

About a week after the dinner, Angela tells Tony that she has been unable to find her crystal salt and pepper shakers, and tactfully asks Tony if he thinks his mother could have taken it…Tony reluctantly types the following e-mail to his mother…

Mom, I am not saying you did take them, but it seems odd that Angela cannot find her salt and pepper shakers, and we were wondering if maybe you took them? I know it sounds crazy, but that is the last time we saw them. I hope I didn’t offend you? Love Tony

Tony’s mom e-mails back…
Dear Tony, I am not saying that you are sleeping with Angela, but the fact is that if Angela were sleeping in her own bed, she would have found her salt and pepper shakers by now…Love Mom

Don’t try and fool your momma!!!
